Reina Kawazoe, D.D.S.

Dr. Reina Kawazoe was born and raised in the Southbay where she spent much of her time swimming competitively and doing art.  She attended University of California, San Diego for her undergraduate degree. 

During her studies, Dr. Reina decided to merge her love for art and science with a deep desire to help others by pursuing a career in dentistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco and went on to complete a one-year general practice residency at Native American Health Center in Oakland, CA. Upon graduation, she served as a part-time faculty member for 4 years at University of California, Los Angeles in the Department of Restorative Dentistry while joining her family’s practice in San Pedro.

Dr. Reina continues to enjoy teaching and learning, keeping up with dentistry’s most current practices. In her spare time, you will find her swimming, surfing, running, hiking, painting, traveling, and most of all, enjoying time with loved ones.
